In recognition of the current economic challenges and the devastation, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused to businesses, especially MSMEs. The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control (NAFDAC) has instituted palliatives for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The palliatives include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. MSMEs can now process the registration of their products with NAFDAC from the comfort of their homes through NAFDAC’s e-Registration assistance for MSMEs using the Automated Product Administration and Monitoring System (NAPAMS<\/a>). Here’s a link<\/a> for the NAFDAC<\/a> procedure and requirements for registration of MSME products<\/li>\n
  2. An 80% discounted registration rate over a period of six months<\/li>\n
  3. Zero tariffs for the first 200 micro and small businesses to register on the e-platform. Here’s a link for the TARIFF Extract<\/a> for MSMEs<\/li>\n
  4. Waiver on administrative charges for overdue\/late renewal of expired licenses of products for a period of 90 days<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
