The SHEBA program has executed three (3) cohorts of 30 participants each, with participants from the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 17-week SHEBA program provides venture-building and technical support to African female entrepreneurs across the ECOWAS region who are looking to successfully grow their businesses and become investment ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits of the ShEquity Business Accelerator<\/strong> <strong>(SHEBA)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ShEquity seed investment which ranges between US$50K and $250K, with an additional opportunity for post-investment support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The accelerator programme is designed to address investors\u2019 concerns and investment risks by focusing on the following: Business Development, Finances, Legal &amp; Governance, Human Resources &amp; Leadership, Marketing &amp; Communications as well as Impact Measurement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on market testing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Executive coaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentorship sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to ShEquity and MBC Africa\u2019s pan-African and global networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anglophone applicants with businesses duly registered in&nbsp;West Africa. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impactful, innovative, and scalable businesses in agribusiness (agric tech, production, processing, wholesale, retail, all <a href=\"https:\/\/msmehub.org\/staging\/6671\/trending-opportunities-in-agribusiness-in-nigeria\/\">agribusiness value chain aspects<\/a>), climate-smart businesses, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs), healthcare, mobility\/logistics, and tech-enabled businesses (fintech, clean tech, ed tech, etc.). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duly registered businesses in ECOWAS countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Female-owned and managed with a minimum of 51% female ownership and in operation for at least 24 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for the fourth cohort of SHEBA,&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sheba.acceleratorapp.co\/application\/new\">apply here<\/a><\/strong>.
